POSTPONEMENT OF RECRUITMENT EXERCISE FOR RECRUIT WARDERS AND WARDRESSES

The Commissioner General of Prisons, informs all persons who had applied for the post of recruit warders and wardresses and were scheduled to undergo interviews between 16th and 21 Nov 2020, that the interviews have been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. Another date for the interviews will be communicated later.

All inconveniences caused are highly regretted.

UNODC & EU DONATE TO UPS IN SUPPORT OF COVID-19 RESPONSE IN PRISONS

Today morning Commissioner General of Prisons, Can. Dr. Johnson Byabashaija received items donated to Uganda Prisons Service in Support of the COVID-19 Response in Prisons by the Joint Global Initiative on the Management of Violent Extremist Prisoners and The Prevention of Radicalization to violence in Prisons. Sponsored by European Union and United Nations office on Drugs and Crime(UNODC) at the Luzira parade grounds.
